r3v3ng3 Downloader v2.1.0
A segmented download manager in a single binary, with a local web interface and browser extension.
# README
r3v3ng3 Downloader speeds up large downloads by splitting them into parallel segments, and resumes them when the connection drops.
It is a single executable with no dependencies. It lives in the system tray and runs its interface locally in your browser, so there is nothing else to install.
The companion extension for Chromium-based browsers and Firefox sends downloads straight to the manager. Built-in stats show speed and history at a glance.
# CHANGELOG
2.1.0 - Video and audio from sites (YouTube, SoundCloud, Vimeo, Bandcamp etc.) sent through the browser: appear in the same download list as regular downloads, with progress, pause/resume, retry and remove. Work is done by yt-dlp (prepared and verified by the browser); DRM services are excluded. - Video rows labeled "yt-dlp · 720p / MP3" with current phase shown (merging video and audio, converting audio).
